Commander Langlois

Lieutenant Commander Paul Langlois received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville in 1989 and enlisted in the Navy shortly thereafter.

After serving four years as an Aviation Anti-submarine Warfare Operator, he attended Officer Candidate School, received his commission as an Ensign, and was winged as a Naval Aviator a year and a half later.

Over the next fifteen years he completed multiple overseas deployments in support of United States National Interests and held numerous positions of responsibility to include P-3C Aircraft Commander, UC-12F Aircraft Commander, T-45C Aircraft Commander, Flight Instructor, Naval Liaison to Southeast Asia, Administrative Department Head, Safety Department Head, and Operations Officer.

He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, KS, and earned a Master’s Degree from Webster University, St. Louis, MO.

He retired from active duty in December, 2011 and accepted the position as NJROTC Senior Naval Science Instructor for Providence High School in Charlotte, NC, in July, 2013.

Lieutenant Commander Langlois is married to the former Elaine Bell of Jacksonville, FL and they have two daughters, Helen and Sarah.

Master Gunnery Sergeant Ricky Osborne was born in Lenoir, North Carolina and graduated from Wilkes Central High School in Wilkesboro, North Carolina in 1986. After graduation, he attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina.

Over the next seven years he progressed through the ranks, attaining the rank of Sergeant and serving in multiple capacities as a radio operator and communications specialist deploying in support of Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield, as well as completing tours in Okinawa, South Korea, and Panama.

He transferred to the Reserves in 1993, then back to active duty in 1995 and continued his honorable service over the next 18 years serving in numerous notable positions including satellite communications terminal chief, Battalion Radio Chief deploying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Assistant Operations Chief deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

In March 2011, he earned his Associate in Arts degree from Coastal Carolina Community College, and was transferred to 1st Marine Aircraft Wing where he served as Communications Information Systems Chief until his retirement on November 30, 2013.

Master Gunnery Sergeant Osborne is married to Nicole Finaldi Osborne of Charlotte, NC and they have two daughters, Leah and Anna.
